A Letter From Rebel
LFG.
— Rebel Williams
If you're looking for a cookbook written by a professionally trained chef, this isn't it.
This book was built in a regular kitchen by a single dad who loves his kids, loves good food, and believes some of life's best conversations happen around the dinner table.
The recipes in these pages helped build memories with my daughter Avery and my son Evan. Some came from family traditions passed down through generations. Some were created through trial and error. Some were born from a weight-loss journey that changed my life. And some are simply meals we couldn't stop making because they were too good not to share.
This isn't just a collection of recipes.
It's a collection of moments.
- It's cookie nights with Avery.
- It's fishing trips with Evan.
- It's date-night dinners.
- It's backyard BBQs with friends and family.
- It's learning that food has a way of bringing people together when life gets busy.
And it's a tribute to one very special person.
My mother, known in this book as Grandma Blueberry.
Many of my favorite memories happened in her kitchen. Long before I ever thought about writing a cookbook, she was teaching our family that food wasn't just something you ate—it was something you shared. Her recipes, her traditions, and the love she poured into every meal helped shape the way I cook today.
I wish she were here to see this book.
I think she'd be proud.
My hope is that these recipes help you create a few memories of your own.
- Cook the meals.
- Share the stories.
- Make a mess.
- Laugh a lot.
- Take pictures.
And don't wait for a special occasion to gather around the table with the people you love.
Life moves fast.
The memories don't have to.
